What is or was your favorite subject in school?
I never really had one... instead of choosing what to study be working out what career I wanted I chose by what was easiest for me at the time.... 22 years on and I now know what a mistake that was. all the adults used to say how important school was. now I'm saying the same thing so my kids.. I just hope they pay more attention than I did.
If you had a private jet for just one night, where would you go?
easy one.... australia's gold coast...and home to my beautiful wife
sorry for being an ignorant git and not being here... the kids spent the school holidays with me... either one, two or 3 kids with me at various times through the last six weeks.... I'm hoping to be able to be here at vox a bit more now... and to catch up with everyone I have neglected... so BEWARE.... there willbe more boring posts and the odd naff comment coming from my lump of discarded chewing gum theat I call a brain... see you all soon.
the kids stayed with me for the majority of the school holidays... so the day I took them home I was looking forward to a night of oeace an quiet.. with no arguing and being able to have an early night. I dropped the boys back at their mothers house and started the drive home... then ran out of diesel on the dual carriageway and manged to coast into a layby... had my mobile on me but it's not working so couldn't phone for help... and my back is still knackered so walking far wasn't an option...I try to flag down some help.. but eveyone just whizzes past.. so I get back in the car feeling like shit. some passer by.. travelling at about 70mph.. saw me whilst I was in "pissed off and dejected mode" with my head rested against the steering wheel.. and phoned the police telling them there was a dead guy in a car by the roadside... the first I new about that was when the flashing blue lights hurtled up to me... I explained to the cop what had happened and was nicely offered a lift to fetch a can of diesel. Did that.. came back to the car and put the diesel in.... whilst I'm putting the fuel in the police leave... but now I have fuel at least... pump the fuel bleed thingy (I am starting to not like diesels) then tried to start the car.... only the hazzard warning lights had been on since breaking down.. and now the battery had not got the power to start the engine.... I try again to flag down help... nothing once again.. then when I sit back in the car for a bit another car pulls up behind me.... more police... they decide it'd be a good idea to give me a lift halfway home and let me walk the last to miles... I persuade them to get "control" to call my parents instead. . they do that, tellme my dad is on his way..and depart.
I wait a while, my dad shows up.. and can't get the car to do anything either.. so he tows me to the next layby.. hoping that'll start the car.... NOWT.. only thing left to do.. tow me home... and off we go again... because my engine isn't running I have no power steering and the servo on the brakes is not working.... add this to my back pain and being towed hurts.. then we get to a junction... he speeds out.. onto the main carriageway through town... and brakes... my brakes with no servo arent as good... BUMP.. rear ended my mothers car. then got towed the rest of the way back.. and I hurt all the more due to the bump.
I dropped the kids at home just after 6pm.. got home some time after midnight... it's only a 7 mile trip... so much for a peaceful night.
hope this is better to read than to go through.. I'd hate to bore anyone by writing more rubbish.. but it got a good reception of my wife and inlaws so I thought I'd share.
have fun people.. and now the kids aren't here 24/7 I should be around more.
What were you afraid of when you were younger that seems silly to you now?

The character Raggety from the old "Rupert the Bear" tv show used to make me hide behind the sofa lol

If you could choose one ability, what would it be out of the options here?
- Combust or Explode things with your own will
- Command the Wind
- Move the Earth beneath your feet
- Phase through Walls
- Flashstep or some would call it Shadow Step
- Use forces of Telekinesis
- Manipulate Water and Ice
- Shoot Lightning at your fingertips
- Create and Control Fire
- Engage in Telepathy
And there is a kick to this, you have to type out one short scenario of how you used it.
It can be a short paragraph of a story, or a full story, whichever (of course you are the character in it) or a day to day thing with you having this special ability.
And if you wish,
find one picture, any picture (doesn't have to be you) of how you might
be using this chosen power of yours. You don't have to find it if you
don't wish to :) this part is optional ^ ^
Engage in telepathy... WOW.. read the thoughts of criminals and tell the police whether the gunman really will shoot.. find the missing person in the burning building or wherever just by that mental link... detect lies and know the truth behind it (but not on personal stuff... finding out everyone thinks you are a dick would be a body-blow).. this gives load of crime-fighter/rescue personnel options.... but the best part is the personal bit... being able to directly link my thought to someone and show them what I mean without the need to try and find the right words and balls it up..... and having the nack to know when tea is required without prompting.
In honor of the upcoming Olympics, what could you win a gold medal in?

Who inspires you to be the person you are today?
Submitted by meuuy.
Nobody really inspires me to be who I am today... I'm not really happy with who I am today... But my Wife inspires me to be the person I will become, it may take a bit of work on my part... but she is worth every bit of it.
